It contains: Most braces such as the Newport hip Brace are not rigid enough to be used for single leg hip control and only work for both legs if the abduction bar is utilized. The Sequoia brace uses a very rigid torsal body section to ensure the hip joint is maintained in the desired position and/or range of motion. It consists of

  • a very rigid torsal body section
  • tri-planar hip joints, adjustable for flexion, extension and abduction, utilizes a split cam wedge that allows the orthotist to anatomically align and accurately position the hip.
  • bilateral thigh cuffs
